Squeaky Head Noise is a 30 minute recorded work created by Leon DeLorenzo and John Bayer in 2000.

Its theme relates to a layered series of conversations, all of which contain some element of instruction. The only audible one of these is that between Rafiloza bin Rafi and Kim Kyung Eui. The other main sound source was provided by single note samples of the instruments of Victoria Unversity of Wellington's gamelan (Padang Moncar). Further colour came from Chris O'Connor on drums and Leon on the suling (flute). Assistance with instruments and recording was kindly provided by Simon O'Rorke.
